If you’re not familiar with CBC3 Media and our publishing outlets SoutheastProduceWeekly.com and the soon-to-launch WhereTheFoodComesFrom.com, you have probably heard about “those folks” who have been covering the fresh produce industry on national television for the last year.

That’d be us. And we want to put you on television at the upcoming Southeast Produce Council Southern Innovations and PMA Fresh Summit tradeshows via our broadcast partner The RFD-TV Network! We will have live coverage of both shows with followups for days to come on.

Southeast Produce Weekly is now in year three. We have quickly become the go-to source for authoritative information and connections to the produce industry in the Southeast, whether you’re based here, do business here, or just want to.

In October we will launch WhereTheFoodComesFrom.com, a consumer-facing website that will at long last link growers, buyers and their ultimate customers — those coveted consumers — in a single platform that is entertaining, educational, and a dynamite marketing tool to connect the industry directly to each other — and with the people who buy our products. There will be separate portals for the industry to connect with each other and for all sides of the industry to connect with consumers.

We’d like to invite you to test drive what we do. Tell your story in our special Pre- and Post SEPC Southern Innovations editions of Southeast Produce Weekly. And join us for the October launch of WhereTheFoodComesFrom.com with a special focus on PMA all month, including pre- and post-show special editions with plenty of opportunities for you to show off what you do best.

Options start at just $500 per run and include targeted editorial about your company and a very real chance of getting some national television air time. We will be broadcasting live from both shows for our television partner The RFD-TV Network (52% U.S. household penetration, Nielsen-rated 12.5 million viewers weekly). We will be looking for stories to tell in Nashville and Anaheim during the shows and in the days and weeks to follow. And we always turn first to to our sponsor-partners for those.

Here’s a sample of what you’re guaranteed to get, a place in our pre- and post-show coverage like the elite companies featured here. Those breakout links that say SPOTLIGHT? That’s you — click here to see the sample

While we can’t absolutely guarantee that everyone with a spot in these sections will be on television as part of our show coverage, we can assure you that there is an excellent chance of that — and our regular sponsor-partners know they can count on seeing us where they live for regular television coverage, not just at tradeshows.

Here are a couple of sample clips that show how we do this:

And for a look at the circles we move in, check out this video from the South Carolina Governor’s Mansion, where we brought the Southeast’s top retail and wholesale buyers together for an audience with SC Gov. Henry McMaster and Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers:

And if you become part of our regular sponsor-partner family, you can look forward to features about your company like this:

We’d certainly be happy to talk to you about more long-range marketing plans moving forward. WhereTheFoodComesFrom.com will be an unprecedented effort to connect buyers, growers and consumers — with the support of national television — in the same place. We’ve got great stories to tell and a great plan to tell them — we’d definitely like to make your story one of those we’re telling.

If you’d like to get started with an article and (very) likely national television appearance for your company at one or both of these shows, just give us a call at (813) 838-1577 or send us an email (chip@southeastproduceweekly.com) and we’ll get the ball rolling!
