Hurricane Michael wreaked havoc on South Georgia agriculture and damage estimates continue to climb — $4 billion at the latest tally.

We talked with officials from the state Department of Agriculture and the Georgia Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association for an update — and a look at what the near future holds for Georgia in a report that first aired on our broadcast partner The RFD-TV Network.

How big a hit does that $4 billion represent? Agriculture is Georgia’s largest industry, contributing more than 70 billion dollars to the state economy annually.
