It was a normal Vidalia onion season — and that’s a good thing. Not a bumper crop, but good volume and excellent quality that kept consumers coming back for more — they’re cleaning up the last of this year’s crop in supermarkets right now.
Vidalia packers and shippers are already transitioning to the winter Peruvian sweet crop. We’ll have an update on that deal soon.
