During his 33-year career as South Carolina Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture, Martin Eubanks got to know a lot of people. He also made an impression on most of them as well.

Martin leaves office next week to pursue retirement (and fish and game). So, during our recent trip to The Palmetto State, we talked with ag producers in the field and at the state capitol about their memories and recollections of Martin for this tribute video.

Martin never wavered in his service to South Carolina — but his heart never strayed from the Bulldogs of his alma mater, the University of Georgia. That’s why we chose the above picture, taken at Southern Innovations last September, to represent his retirement.

Martin, this is our going away present to you — a hearty thank you, straight from the people you’ve served so well for so long.
