Every produce industry tradeshow has a purpose. With some it’s hard to tell what that is, granted. But the reason for the annual Southeast Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference in Savannah, scheduled for Jan. 11-14, 2018, has never been unclear: It’s a grower-driven show, designed to introduce innovations and ideas that will make life on the farm easier.
Registration is open now and you can find more info here.
Hosted by the Georgia Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association, SRFVC is the largest educational conference and trade show in the southeastern United States that unites growers, vendors and suppliers. Anyone with an interest in specialty crop agriculture is invited to be a part of this event.
More than 80 hours of educational sessions address food safety concerns, specific commodity issues on production practices and increased yields, and marketing strategies.
The tradeshow segment has shown dynamic growth in recent years and now features more than 85,000 square feet of space with exhibits from key suppliers and growers.
